I would like to see a new video from Dr. Bring Barrie Tan to attention.

Dr. Tan is the one who invented the first tocotrienol extractions in the 1980s. He's like the worldwide "pope" the tocotrienols and now he has something new (GG - geranylgeraniol).

This video is about 10 minutes about the story of how he found the tocotrienols from Annatto, then about 20 minutes about tocotrienols, then from minute 31:09 about GG.

The whole video lasts about 1 hour and is in English.

Here is a small overview of the contents for this video:

Tocotrienols were first found in red palm oil and rice oil, Dr. Tan will soon report for 10 minutes how he found the tocotrienols of particularly good quality in Bixa orellana (Annatto) in South America.

tocotrienols correspond to the tocopherols, but with the 3-fold unsaturated residue and with emphasis on delta- and gamma-tocotrienol

Annatto tocotrienols are only extracted using physical methods - no solution or chemical combination

What's wrong with alpha-tocopherol(12:05)?

- It oxidizes HDL and LDL cholesterol

- it increases inflammation (TNFalpha plus 13 to 40%, IL-6 plus 21-22%)

- increases death rates in cancer (breast, prostate, lung)

- reduces the effectiveness of chemotherapy

- increases the risk of heart disease in menopausal women

- Reduces the damage in strokes

- Verminthet the benefits of tocotrienolsn (lower absorption, storage, cholesterol reduction, anticancer effect)

Why do plants produce tocotrienols - to protect their carotenes and lipids

Cell membranes contain up to 90% of vitamin E and 10% CoQ10

studies in heart diseases

- preclinical: significantly reduces cholesterol, LDL, TG and TG/HDL ratio in a dose equivalent to approx. 135mg/d

- clinical: reduces CRP, MDA, cholesterol and TG (risk factors) by 15-30%. Maximum effect in approx. 250 mg T3/d

NAFLD destroys liver 25:25(as a sign of "metabolic syndrome")

Affecting approximately 30% of adults, it can lead to liver cirrhosis, inflammation, infections and cancer

study with 2*300 mg tocotrienol

Tocotrienols significantly improved the liver (CRP FIB-4 CK18 FLI HOMA-IR confirmed by mRNA)

Tocotrienols significantly reduced body weight, hip circumference and BMI (lasting 3-12 months)

study with 250 mg T3/d, n=60-110, placebo double-blind 6 months (from 30:13)

Glucose -6.8%, HBA1C -6.3%, Insulin -7.6%, TG -10.3%, LK-6 -15.9%, FNT-alpha -13.7%, MDA -8.8%

Result of another clinical study with PreDiabetes (300 mg T3/d, n=77, A1C 5.7-6.4)

A1C-4.5%, FPG-4.3%, insulin -11.2%, HOMA-IR -15.1%

study with 250 mg T3/d, n=60-110, placebo double-blind 6 months (in video from 30:13)

Glucose -6.8%, HBA1C -6.3%, Insulin -7.6%, TG -10.3%, LK-6 -15.9%, FNT-alpha -13.7%, MDA -8.8%

In summary, the recommended dosage of delta-tocotrienol:

- for men: 100-300 mg/d

- for mild chronic conditions: 300-400 mg/d

- for advanced chronic conditions: 400-600 mg/d

- only in cancer 900 mg/d

continues with the interesting GG (geranylgeraniol) on the next page
