Anti aging

How does aging actually happen?

If there is enough food and the right temperature, there is actually a chance for them to not “die”. Cells could live forever and single-celled organisms (bacteria, algae) never die under good conditions.

However, heat, radiation and even natural oxygen respiration can destroy genetic material and other components of the cells. This destructive effect occurs through free radicals until the genetic material is damaged to such an extent that the cell cannot produce new life molecules.
Over time, such cell damage also accumulates, so it makes sense (if possible beforehand) to create a duplicate of the cell. It divides into two smaller cells which then grow and can replace destroyed cells. For example, damaged skin can become like new.

The ability to divide in multicellular organisms such as humans is limited. Human skin cells, for example, can divide exactly 50 times, then they stop. Even if the neighboring cells can produce more replacement, there is less replacement available, less collagen is formed and the skin becomes “old”. The same applies in all other cell types (such as liver, intestine) but the counters have differing levels.
In the case of skin cells, it was measured that by the age of around 17 years half of the possible cell divisions had already been used up. After the age of over 50, only a few cell divisions remain available.

Nevertheless, this "counter" is in our interest. It protects us from the individual damaged cells suddenly dividing and starting to proliferate. It protects us from cancer. Cancer occurs when genetic damage deactivates the cell's counter and allows it to continue to multiply. So this is important and we want to have the counter intact.

Protection against premature aging or the slowing down of aging can only be achieved by avoiding the cell damage. And that's why we have our repair and guardian mechanism - the antioxidants. They have to come from outside (it is vitamin C or E). If we have enough of it, the cells experience less damage, live longer and have to divide less often.
Any “anti-aging” can only be done by

  1. Avoiding the free radicals themselves (avoiding sunburn, smoking, radiation, ozone)
  2. Eliminate free radicals as quickly as possible through antioxidants
The best antioxidants

So we need the best antioxidants to slow down aging. The most important in a water-soluble environment is the vitamin C. However, the cell membranes and many cell functions are a predominantly fat-soluble environment. For this we need vitamin E. Scientifically proven the best vitamin E molecules are the T3 - tocotrienols. Its antioxidant effect on the cell membrane is 40 to 60 times stronger than the "normal" alpha-tocopherol. switch&pmid&11160563&&to study in PubMed[Full text of the study]
