Here is a selection of the largest studies with antioxidant and especially vitamin E
With regard to the prevention, treatment and aftercare of heart and circulatory diseases.

Lee 2005 (USA, women only): Approximately 19,900 women were given 600 IU of natural vitamin E every 2 days for 10 years (ka tocotrienols).
Result: 24% fewer deaths from heart death (statistically significant), 7% fewer heart attacks (statistically not significant), no influence on mortality from cancer, no influence on overall mortality from all causes (but Bielacovic rated 3% higher overall mortality, why?).
Blot 1992 (China): 29,584 people divided into 4 groups received various vitamins at doses of 1-2 times the US recommendations (RDA) for 5 years. One group received beta-carotene vitamin E and selenium.
Result: The group with beta-carotene vitamin E and Selenium had 9% fewer deaths (mainly due to significantly fewer cancer cases, especially gastric cancer). The effect appeared about 1-2 years after starting the supplementation.
Cambridge Heart Antioxidant Study (CHAOS) (England): 2002 people with heart disease received 400-800IU alpha-tocopherol (natural but isolated) or the placebo for about 1 year. All patients received concurrent blood thinners.
Result:
Among the patients who received vitamin E, there were statistically significant increases in the follow-up period (approx. 1.5 years).47% fewer heart attacks on (fatal or non-lethal). However, the total number of deaths was non-significantly higher in the alpha-tocopherol group (27 vs 23; 1.18 [0.62-2.27]; p=0.61).
GISSI 1999 (Italy, after suffering a heart attack): Four groups of 2830 people each received 1g omega-3, 300mg vitamin E, and other placebo.
Result: Among the groups with omega-3diedin the next 3.5 years10-20% lessPeople. The administration of vitamin E(unspecified, probably synthetic)had either a positive or a negative impact.
